Getlink Customs Services was pleased to exhibit at SITL 2026, one of Europe’s leading transport and logistics exhibitions, held in Paris from 31 March to 2 April. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the team to engage with shippers, carriers, logistics providers and supply chain professionals from across France, the UK and Europe.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, visitors to the Getlink Customs Services stand discovered how the business is helping organisations simplify international trade through a combination of customs expertise, border services and innovative digital solutions. Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including import, export and transit declarations, ENS, ICS2, GMR and the upcoming Enveloppe Logistique Obligatoire (ELO) requirements for UK-EU movements.

Preparing for ELO and border changes

One of the key themes throughout the event was the introduction of the Enveloppe Logistique Obligatoire (ELO), which became a major topic of discussion among transport operators and logistics businesses preparing for upcoming border requirements. The Getlink Customs Services team shared practical guidance on how businesses can adapt to these regulatory changes while maintaining compliant and efficient cross-border operations.

Visitors also had the opportunity to discuss wider customs and border challenges, including ENS GB, ICS2 and transit processes, and to learn how expert support combined with digital technology can help reduce complexity and improve operational efficiency.

Strengthening relationships across the industry

SITL once again proved to be a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing customers, meet new organisations and exchange insights on the future of customs, logistics and cross-border trade. The exhibition highlighted the increasing importance of digitalisation, regulatory expertise and operational resilience in an ever-changing trading environment.

A sincere thank you to everyone who visited the Getlink Customs Services stand during the event. We look forward to continuing these conversations and helping businesses navigate customs and border processes with smarter, simpler and more efficient solutions.
