From 1 September 2025, two new customs requirements will come into full effect for road traffic bound for the European Union:
- the entry summary declaration (ENS) via the ICS2 system,
- the mandatory logistics envelope (ELO) on the French side.
These requirements mark a major turning point in the digitisation and security of customs operations.
