On 1 July 2025, Getlink Customs Services hosted a webinar on the new EU customs rules coming with the rollout of Import Control System 2 (ICS2) and the Mandatory Logistics Envelope (ELO).
This webinar, presented in English, was aimed at carriers, logistics providers, freight forwarders and manufacturers involved in the entry of goods into the EU.
What will change on 1 September 2025
From this date, all flows entering the European Union must be accompanied by:
- an Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) via ICS2
- a Mandatory Logistics Envelope (ELO) to structure documents and secure data
These new requirements aim to strengthen traceability and security and improve border fluidity.
Practical tools presented
Beyond the regulatory aspect, the Getlink Customs Services teams presented a live operational toolkit to address these challenges, including:
- Automated generation of ELOs
- ENS transmission
- API integration
- Compliance status tracking
